Few days to go before the launch of the new iPhone 3G. How much it will cost in Italy? What's about the other countries of the world? Publishing an exhaustive and complete comparison table is a challenge, because of the many different plans and offerings from a lot of different providers. I tried to report the cheapest offerings in every country, calculating the Total Cost of Ownership for each one, for both the 8GB and the 16GB versions of iPhone. Data change continuosly in mobile market, so I do not commit to maintain it up to date, but I will try. Please, consider that Data and TCO columns are based on cheapest plan, and that the no contract offering might be cheaper when available. All prices have been converted to euro, so some rounding might apply.
